By coincidence, this week's 'Open Theme' falls on what would have been my late Mother's 100th birthday - 31st May, and her name was May,too!
I've used my favourite photo of Mum taken in 1975, in her beloved English Lake District where she hiked most Sundays for over 60 years!
Sadly, she passed away in 2006.
Your arch is the loveliest tribute to your beautiful mother, Love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful tribute to your Mum. She's gorgeous. And she lived to 97? My Dad reached 102 and I used to pinch myself that he was still with us.
ReplyDelete(Judy - a small pssst here. Watch my blog (of Bev's or Ann's - Taluula) around Tuesday for some news)
Snow? We are back to very warm days and winter starts tomorrow. We can never boast of snow here in the west although there are ski fields in NSW and Victoria.
Keep your tootsies warm!!
A gorgeous tribute to your Mother,May! I love how you have created the frame about her.

Judy, your arch is such a sweet tribute to your mother. It is really gorgeous. My mother was also born in 1909 but she died in 1990. How wonderful to have had yours for that long.

Judy, there is a little bit of confusion about the theme for the first challenge. The prompt showing on the incomplete website is for the week after (Doors) - not for the first one which will appear next week.
