When I saw the theme for the challenge, my mind went back to my childhood in the UK when fish & chips, came wrapped up in newspaper!
Credits: tablecloth - Google
local newspaper for the wrapping, chips are 'cut' from 'ancient' local paper and the fish (blending modes added) from a newspaper article.
I am all but jumping up and down for joy at the entries that are showing up! This is grrrrreat, Judy (and boy, did you get knocked out of being first to post this week!). Thanks so much for participating!

ReplyDeleteHey, I can remember something even more gross than fish and chips wrapped in newspaper. I was a small child during the second World War and the aftermath. Rationing was a way of life and there was no such thing as toilet paper. My mother saved the tissue wrappings around apples and, when desperate, cut squares of newspaper for other usage. Erk!! Your picture is fabulous. I love the way the fish stand out, positively glowing amongst the shreds of newspaper.
