Sunday Postcard Art - Fruit

Although the quote relates to the northern hemisphere, the winds here in New Zealand are not blowing 'soft' today which is another 'blow' to the residents of the earthquake ravaged Christchurch area in the South Island. Incredibly there have been no deaths but the devastation to buildings is enormous and the gale force winds will bring more problems plus there are still many aftershocks unsettling the residents.

    I read about the terrible earthquake - I hope you are safe where you are Judy. Your beautiful postcard is rich and abundant in color and imagery- you have captured the essence of fruitfulness perfectly!

    Judy you don't have to give me apologies, it's Google Chrome why you can't leave a massage, with Internet Explorer there is no problem.

    What vibrant colors, and I love the quote, Judy. Beautiful. I take it you're on North Island? Or at least a distance from the area affected by the earthquake. I'm glad you're safe and sound!

    Judy, the LP has been a regular traveller to NZ and he told me that the Lower Hutt area isn't far from Christchurch. Is that right - and is Mangaroa in the area? I have been thinking about you and wondering if you were feeling the aftershocks in your home.
    On a brighter note, your fruit postcard is superb in every way. I love it!!

    Your postcard is beautiful, Judy. Wonderful colours. Lets hope the winds soon settle for all the people in Christchurch. I can't imagine what it must be like for them.

    Judy, I lurve this gorgeous card in rich greens and reds and the quote too which I haven't heard before.

    I saw the earthquake alert on my Google page and could see it was a big one. Glad to hear that no one was killed.

    I was so sorry to hear about the quake in NZ - and shocked as well that so far no deaths have resulted which is a miracle considering the news photos!
    Glad you found the time and composure to create this - it's awesome especially when it's opened up 'larger' - wonderfully vibrant colors.
