I really struggled with this challenge, I even resorted to a 'hands-on' envelope but could not come up with anything, so it was back to Photoshop! I think I'm leaning towards the 'darkside' again with this one!

ReplyDeleteWell, you can't go wrong with Coca-Cola! Really an interesting envelope, Judy. I love it!
ReplyDeleteHi Judy! I hope all our lovely Muses followers aren't stressing out too much about creating an art envelope because all it needs to be really is some sort of collage that could be used as an envelope if needs be.
ReplyDeleteEven though you had problems at first, your envelope is absolutely stunning - and so, so original. I love it.
Judy, did you know that "Photobucket" has removed your background for your blog page? When I clicked on your link at the Muses, all I could see when it opened up was "this image or video has been deleted by Photobucket".
Wow really cool envelope.
ReplyDeleteStunning design Judy. Love it.
Oooo edgy Judy...very cool...a unique and awesome envelope.
ReplyDeleteVery modern and upbeat. Lovely work! xx
ReplyDeleteI can't see that you've struggled! I love this piece!
ReplyDeleteYou know what Judy? I had the same feeling... hence mine is NOTHING like the others I have seen... I think yours is very clever and the imagery is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteGreat work!

I LOVE your collages Judy, as you know... and although this one has a grungey feel, it's so lovely! You should maybe try printing it out onto an envelope and see it in the flesh? I think it's gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic envelope! :)
ReplyDeleteFantastic
ReplyDeletehow creative, I love that you carried the brickwork through into the address label.
ReplyDeleteI struggled too and gave up in the end ( may be I should have tried one in Photoshop)
Very urban and edgy, Judy.
ReplyDeleteThis is an amazing entry. Your envelope is really cool, perfectly balanced with all your elements! LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteWell, Miss Judy, this one has me in awe ....... in fact my jaw is on my shoe tops. It is absolutely wondrous and I would so love to receive this through my letter box. A complete standing ovation from my corner.
ReplyDeleteHow gorgeous, Judy! I love your envelope. I'm not sure that I see anything dark about this. But sometimes I miss things. I love the Coca-Cola bottle. Coke has not tasted as good in plastic or cans. I don't know how that can be, but it is true. Your images are perfect for this challenge. Great job.
ReplyDeleteBrillant .... I like! The flowers in the bottom left hand corner look exactly like a stamp I have!
ReplyDeleteWell there's nothing wrong with this! I struggled too and ended up posting something I wasn't too happy with. I think sometimes we set too high a standard for ourselves!!
ReplyDeleteDark side or not, I think it's very creative and really like it, cool is what I'd call it:o)
