The Three Muses - Nature's Creatures

No, they are not my favourite creatures, they are the 'bugs' that I have encountered during the past week around my home!  Please enlarge to read the ever so slightly exaggerated news - the gardener did scream but did not land in the compost, BUT the 'Marchioness' did wake up one morning to find a weta on her pillow and the dragonfly really did play dead as I photographed it!  I did not 'report' the 'invasion of the flying huhu beetles' (lower right) which occurs when windows are open and the lights are on at night!  FINALLY their grubs can be eaten, tasting of peanut butter!

  11. Ha! Great stuff, what a wonderful sense of humour mixed with such creative talent! Speaking of creepy crawlies, my son and I watched the second Harry Potter film at the weekend - the one with the giant spiders!!! We clung onto each other in fear.

  13. Hi, Loved your art.
By the way I'm thinking most things are improved with peanut butter. Just last week my sons were telling me of a new gormet burger they tried that had PB on it.
