Sunday Postcard Art/Take A Word.....Easter Memories

Arriving home I remember being subjected to a severe reprimanding from my mother, who was an experienced climber and hiker, because of the danger we put ourselves in due to being ill-equipped for our venture!
That's me second from the left.  I was born on an Easter Saturday - but I have no 'memory' of that day!!!!  LOL

Thanks to Ruby Blossom Flickr for the background  SHC for the usual texture. Own photo.

  16. Judy, I can almost feel the cold just from gazing at the photo of you and your friends. I feel a wee bit sorry for the only bloke in the picture. You girls are keeping each other warm and he is well and truly out in the cold.
Great artwork and a great memory.

  17. Those "adventures" that have as a bonus a parent reprimend is, almost always, the best. I loved to see your cold memory. :)

  21. Ahhh, the Old Man of Coniston, I know it well! Well, I've looked up at it many a time. I know what you mean about the weather changes in the Lakes though, there's many a time we have set off in sunshine and ended up in thick mist and fog! Thank you for the memory, Judy.
