Take a Word - Song!




When I saw the theme for the challenge, my mind turned to a news item from the previous night showing a music video of Amy Winehouse, leading a funeral procession singing 'Back to Black.'

    Yes, a very fitting picture indeed. So sad that such a talented young lady has come and gone. I saw a TV segment which listed the number of great musicians and singers who have died at the age of 27. Strange but true.

    What is it about some of the talented musicians that tortures their souls until they turn to alcohol and drugs? She was such a beautiful and talented young singer. Lovely tribute, Judy!

    I translated the song for a moment and found it a very melancholic text and wonder if it was autobiographical.
