Take a Word - Childhood


 'Wait 'til your father gets home!'
Prompted by yet another case of child abuse here in New Zealand.  This is a far cry from my proposed colourful entry of happy children at play.

    This is such a powerful and confrontational image. I hope anyone that sees it, is TOUCHED.

    Bravo Judy... It takes guts to use your art to protest and you have that in spades. Yes, I recall Mum saying that, but I wasn't "abused", luckily.

    Fantastic piece Judy and a little scary because it shows that not all children are doing well - unfortunately, here in Denmark there is right now a case of a father who has abused his 9 children, poor children.
