The Three Muses - Butterflies!

I photographed the  'butterfly bowl' which was featured in a sculpture exhibition I attended.  It has been wood-turned from a large branch of a NZ native tree.  The decoration has been done with a dental drill to pierce and texture the surface to reveal the butterfly images.

  14. The butterfly bowl photo of yours is exquisite, and your extraction is top notch. I like how you added the extra butterflies, as if they were escaping from the bowl design. Very well done.
