Take A Word - Memories

At my Zumba session last week, the instructor asked if any of us had ballet lessons as a child and the memories of those classes came flooding back!  That's me on the right with the knobbly knees!  In the other photo I'm playing with my cocker spaniel, Monty, after whom I named my present dog - 50+ years later!!

Thanks to Manu Designs, backgrounds and lindalucine.com for the jars.

  2. Love the preserving jars, your memories brought back some of mine. My mum wanted me to have ballet lessons, I hated ballet (I had two left feet) and I finally was excused from them when my uncle found me hiding in the post office next door in an attempt to avoid the lessons!

  5. It's so good to see you back, Judy. Are you trying to make all of us couch potatoes and computer desk sitters guilty? Crikey!! ZUMBA no less.
Seriously, I love your pickled memories. I wouldn't have noticed the nobbly knees unless you mentioned them. Even then, you cut a very elegant pose at your ballet class. Love the old photos. Great memories, great art.

I love how you've 'preserved' them.

  12. Wouldn't it brilliant if we could bottle up our memories and then open them up whenever we felt like it.
