The Three Muses - Mona Lisa

(Please enlarge to see the paint effects)
Congratulations on your new art challenge, ladies, excellent choice for week 1!
Mona 'Mermaid' Lisa is created from the technique of placing acrylic paint thickly on the fold of a piece of paper then folding over and 'smoothing' out towards the edges.  Mona's head is from 'Design Originals' Da Vinci paper by Lisa Vollrath.  Mermaid template from alteredbits.com.  The background paper was marbled by me many years ago - knew it would come in handy one day!

  26. Judy, I am just amazed at the gorgeous colors in this mermaid piece. Besides the cleverness of using Mona's face, I mean. This is beautiful. I love the swirly background and the way the red, yellow and green run together on the fish part.

Thanks for your very kind remarks on my Artarazzi piece. I'm looking forward to your digital works.
