ReplyDeleteThis is colorful and so evocative of what we think of as the gypsy camps. My grandfather traded horses with gypsies who camped every year on the river "bottoms" near his home. This is the way I've always pictured their camp, and I wish I'd asked him more about it. The quote is WONDERFUL!!
