The Three Muses - Pockets

I do hope my mini-quilt's 'pockets' full of posies qualifies for this week's challenge as it took a lot of 'head-scratching' to come up with this!
Background & pocket textures by Joe'ssistah Flickr, Kate Greenaway's nursery rhyme illustration - freebie at gutenberg.org, stitches brush from myphotoshopbushes.com and finally the 'posies' are 'cut' from a few my inherited collection of 70 year old Kensitas woven silk cigarette card inserts.

  3. Judy, this is exquisite and so delicate and beautiful. I love it. My small grandchildren sing that very old nursery rhyme so it is close to my heart. What a great idea to choose a rhyme about pockets to illustrate the theme. Fantastic.
