Sunday Postcard Art - School

Just a collage including some of my own efforts from my school days that my mother had kept - house, writing & 'sums!' Teacher, student, pen, inkwell, clock & 'school days' are from my stash & recycled from a gothic arch I made earlier last year! Unfortunately the class photo (thanks to 'Cindyiscrafty's' Flickr) is not one of mine, I threw them all away many years ago because they were all 'turning brown' - DUH!
BUT who could that be in the gingham dress with the big collar? The wall plaque is part of the actual sign from the school I attended and finally - the shells - I 'pinched' a pocketful of them on my second day at school and was duly marched back by my mother as soon as I got home!

    What a beautiful and scrumptious collage! I love it. Wow. I love your own personal "ephemera" saved by Mum. I am sure her kids made fun of her at the time but how precious those things are to us later in life.
