  2. My tongue in cheek Valentine appeared in Sunday Postcards! Of course, I am a real fraud in posting a hearts and flowers piece.

Judy your tribute to Valentine's day is wonderful. I love its humour and its fabulous design. I especially love the cod liver oil feature. Brings back old memories of having it rammed down my neck when I was a small child. There was no attempt to make medications palatable in those days. Cod liver oil tasted exactly as expected!

  5. I guess this is what you call an "ashen" complexion...looks like she might need a shovel, and forget the scissors. What a fun image, Bev, and you have a great sense of humor.

  7. ...and here I thought a sense of humor was the only thing that saved a romance! This is an intriguing couple, Judy. I can't imagine what Cod Liver Oil did for romance but something seems to be working for them! Thanks for the smile!

  8. What a charming couple, Judy! And I had to take that abominable cod liver oil as a child, too. Your romance art is really funny.

  10. Hey Judy, you convinced me that a sentimental, romantic take on Valentine's Day is not really kosher as far as my "art" is concerned. Just for you I am including a mouldy oldy from the archives. I call it "Moaner and Lisa" (or maybe I should have called it Looming Presence and Long Suffering Spouse).

  18. I really don't know what she intend with the Cod liver oil, something nasty I would say, but I totally agree with her when it takes to cut that disgusting beard right now!
